Sportzino review: sweeps rules, sports predictions and promo code status
A documentary review of Sportzino from its Sweeps Rules v2.4 and T&Cs v2.2: free sports predictions, 5 SC mail-in entry, 50 SC minimum and 16 excluded states.
Key takeaways
- Sportzino is run by SSPS LLC of Dover, Delaware, a sister company of Zula Casino's operator in the Blazesoft group.
- Its distinguishing feature is free-to-play sports predictions alongside casino-style games. These are a free game, not a sportsbook or a regulated prediction-market exchange.
- Sweeps play is not permitted in 16 states, including Georgia, which Zula allows. You cannot even open an account in WA, ID, CA, NY, GA or MI.
- Mail-in entry is worth 5 SC per request, and the minimum redemption is 50 SC per request.
- Welcome offer: up to 170,000 GC + 7 SC on sign-up with no purchase, shown on Sportzino's own promotions page on October 4, 2026 (its homepage banner showed 150,000 GC + 6 SC the same day). No promo code is needed.
- We have not verified the minimum age or redemption methods.
Registering gives 20,000 GC + 1 SC; the rest unlocks through verification steps (per Sportzino's promotions page). Sportzino's homepage banner showed 150,000 GC + 6 SC on the same day, so the amount you see may differ. Confirmed on Sportzino's site October 4, 2026. Official terms. Not available in CA, CT, DE, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, ME, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, TN, WA.
Get the Sportzino offer (opens the operator's site in a new tab)Verdict: Sportzino is worth a look for sports fans in eligible states who want free sports picks and casino-style sweepstakes play in one account. On rules and free entry it is close to its sister site Zula, so the real choice comes down to geography and whether you want the sports layer. Skip it if you live in Georgia, which Sportzino excludes, or if you want a regulated way to bet or trade on sports outcomes. Sportzino’s predictions are a free game, not a sportsbook or exchange.

Who it’s for
Sportzino is aimed at players who follow sports and also want slots and other casino-style games. The free-to-play prediction feature gives sports fans something to do with the account that does not involve buying coins.
It is not for you if you:
- live in Georgia or any of the other 15 states where sweeps play is not permitted;
- want real-money sports betting or event-contract trading. For that, compare prediction markets and sports betting, which are regulated differently;
- already use Zula and expect different rules. The two share an owner and most of their terms.
Company and ownership
Sportzino is operated by SSPS LLC, 850 New Burton Road, Suite 201, Dover, Delaware, according to its Sweeps Rules v2.4. SSPS is part of the Blazesoft group, alongside SCPS LLC (Zula Casino) and the US entity behind Fortune Wins (formerly Fortune Coins).
We could not confirm Sportzino’s launch year from a primary source. It is not a state-licensed casino or sportsbook.
Legal status and where you can play
Sportzino has two state lists, and they do different things.
Sweeps play not permitted (Sweeps Rules v2.4). As of October 4, 2026, sweeps play is barred in 16 states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana (since July 24, 2026), Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington.
Account creation blocked (Terms and Conditions v2.2). In six of those states, Washington, Idaho, California, New York, Georgia and Michigan, you cannot open a Sportzino account at all, even for free play. In the other ten, the T&Cs we reviewed do not list an account-creation block, but Sweeps Coin play is off.
What stands out:
- Georgia. Georgia has no sweepstakes ban statute in our tracker, and most brands we document allow it. Sportzino excludes it at both levels. The rules do not explain why.
- Louisiana’s date. The July 24, 2026 exclusion came just before Louisiana’s Act 182 took effect on August 1, 2026.
- Oklahoma. Oklahoma is not listed in v2.4, but its ban starts November 1, 2026. Expect the list to change.
For each state’s legal background, see our sweepstakes legality tracker.
Coin names and the rules Sportzino shares with Zula
The first thing a new Sportzino player may notice is the naming. Blazesoft-group terms record a March 28, 2025 change replacing “Gold Coins” with “Virtual Coins”, and Sportzino’s documents use both labels for the same play-only currency. Neither can be redeemed. Sweeps Coins are the redeemable promotional currency; our Sweeps Coins guide explains how the two-coin model works in general.
Beyond the labels, Sportzino’s balance rules follow the group template:
- Playthrough is set by the operator, with 2x given as an example; “WAR” games do not count.
- Inactivity can void unused Sweeps Coins. The group’s rules set this at 60 days from the last login; check v2.4 for Sportzino’s current wording.
- Florida single-play wins are capped below 5,000 SC in the group’s rules. Confirm the Sportzino wording before relying on it.
We walk through those clauses in detail, with worked examples, in the Zula Casino review, since Zula’s v2.6 states them most explicitly.
Free ways to get Sweeps Coins
Mail-in request (verified). The Sweeps Rules v2.4 provide a handwritten mail-in entry worth 5 Sweeps Coins per valid request, one request per envelope, with identity verification required before those coins can be redeemed. We do not print Sportzino’s mailing address because we have not confirmed it separately from Zula’s; take it, and the current format, from the Sportzino Sweeps Rules.
Sports predictions. These are free to play under Sportzino’s separate Prediction Rules. We have not verified whether, or how many, Sweeps Coins they award, so we put no value on them.
No daily login bonus amount has been verified.
Offer and promo code
Sign-up offer: up to 170,000 Gold Coins + 7 Sweeps Coins, no purchase needed. This was shown on Sportzino’s own promotions page on October 4, 2026. Registering credits 20,000 GC + 1 SC; the rest unlocks through verification steps and notification consent. Sportzino’s homepage banner showed a different figure the same day, 150,000 GC + 6 SC, so the amount shown to you may differ.
We do not list a first-purchase deal, because the figures reported by comparison sites disagree with each other. Any Sweeps Coins you receive are subject to the operator-set playthrough and the inactivity rule above.
No promo code is needed for this offer. Larger packages advertised through other sites’ affiliate links are tied to those sites, and we do not publish their codes.
Games
Sportzino has two parts:
- Casino-style games played with Virtual Coins or Sweeps Coins. We have not counted the catalog or confirmed providers.
- Free-to-play sports predictions, governed by separate Prediction Rules. We have not verified which sports or bet types are covered.
The sports layer is the main reason to choose Sportzino over Zula.
Purchases and redemptions
| Rule | Sportzino |
|---|---|
| Minimum redemption | 50 Sweeps Coins per request (Sweeps Rules v2.4) |
| Account creation blocked | WA, ID, CA, NY, GA, MI (T&Cs v2.2) |
| Minimum age | Not stated in the documents we read |
The “per request” wording differs from Zula’s “per day” phrasing; we have not confirmed whether Sportzino also limits how often you can request. Purchase methods, redemption methods and processing times are unverified, and we will add them only from official pages.
Mobile
A Sportzino app and the mobile site have not been verified or tested.
Safety, complaints and legal actions
As of October 4, 2026, we did not find a state attorney general action naming Sportzino. Its parent group, Blazesoft, was named through its Fortune Coins brand in the City of Baltimore’s March 4, 2026 consumer-protection suit against six sweepstakes operators, according to the plaintiff’s counsel. Sportzino was not named in that release.
Sportzino’s exclusion list tracks new state laws closely: Louisiana was added from July 24, 2026, eight days before Act 182 took effect. For players, the practical risks are an operator-set playthrough, inactivity expiry and an account that cannot be opened at all in six states.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Combines casino-style games with free-to-play sports predictions
- Mail-in free entry worth 5 SC per request
- Clear 50 SC minimum redemption
- Official rules updated August 2026
Cons
- Excludes Georgia, which most rivals allow
- Shares ownership, rules and restrictions with Zula, so there is little difference between them
- Playthrough multiplier is at the operator's discretion
- Sweeps Coins can expire after inactivity
Alternatives
- Zula Casino has the same group, the same 5 SC mail-in value and no sports predictions, but it allows Georgia and states an 18+ minimum age. Our Zula vs Sportzino comparison covers the differences.
- Modo.us has no sports feature, but its 20 SC gift-card minimum is lower than Sportzino’s 50 SC and it does not exclude Georgia. Mail-in entry there is 3 SC.
- High 5 Casino focuses on in-house slots, with a 100 SC cash minimum and 21 restricted states. See Modo vs High 5 Casino.
- Chumba Casino has the longest track record, but its operator VGW is being sued by Florida’s attorney general and others.

How we reviewed Sportzino
This is a documentary review. We read Sportzino’s Sweeps Rules v2.4 and Terms and Conditions v2.2, Blazesoft-group terms, and state legislation and court records. Every fact traces to a source listed on this page. We have not opened an account, made predictions, bought coins or redeemed a prize, so there is no score and no claim about app quality or payout speed.
A hands-on testing log is planned. It will cover sign-up, the prediction feature, KYC, a mail-in request and a dated redemption. Facts were last verified October 4, 2026, and are re-checked every 30 days. See our methodology.
