Zula Casino vs Sportzino
Zula Casino and Sportzino share an operator group, rules and free-entry amounts. Here are the differences that matter: states, sports predictions and minimums.
Key takeaways
- Zula Casino and Sportzino are run by sister companies in the Blazesoft group and their sweepstakes rules are built the same way.
- Both give 5 SC per mail-in request and set a 50 SC minimum redemption.
- Sportzino adds free-to-play sports predictions; Zula is casino-only.
- Zula is available in more places: Sportzino also excludes Georgia and blocks account creation in six states.
The verdict: these are two storefronts from one group, and on free entry and minimums they are identical. The choice comes down to three things: where you live, whether you want free sports picks, and how much you value a rulebook that states the age limit and expiry period outright. Choose Zula for broader eligibility and the more explicit rules. Choose Sportzino if the free-to-play sports predictions appeal to you and you do not live in Georgia or another state it excludes. On our ranked list, Zula is second and Sportzino third for those reasons.

What is identical, and where to read it
Both operators are Delaware LLCs in the Blazesoft group, which also runs Fortune Wins (formerly Fortune Coins). On the numbers most readers compare, there is nothing to choose between them: 5 SC per handwritten mail-in request, a 50 SC minimum redemption, an operator-set playthrough with 2x as the example, and identity checks before mail-in coins can be redeemed. The clause-by-clause detail, including the mailing address and win caps, is in our Zula Casino review; the coin naming and prediction feature are covered in the Sportzino review.
Shared ownership also means shared legal exposure. Blazesoft, through its Fortune Coins brand, is named in Baltimore’s March 2026 consumer-protection lawsuit. We found no state attorney general action naming Zula or Sportzino specifically as of October 4, 2026.
The rest of this page covers only the points where they differ.
Factor 1: Where you can play
Edge: Zula.
Zula’s rules list 15 states where sweeps play is not permitted: CA, CT, DE, ID, IL, IN, LA, ME, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, TN and WA. Sportzino’s list has 16: the same states plus Georgia, with Louisiana excluded from July 24, 2026.
Sportzino adds a second layer. Its Terms and Conditions block account creation entirely in Washington, Idaho, California, New York, Georgia and Michigan, so you cannot open even a free-play account there. The Zula rules we read contain no equivalent account-level list.
Neither list includes Oklahoma yet, although the state’s ban takes effect November 1, 2026. Expect both to add it, and check the state legal tracker before relying on either list.
Factor 2: What you can play
Edge: Sportzino, if you follow sports.
Both offer slots and casino-style games. Sportzino adds free-to-play sports predictions under separate Prediction Rules. They are a free game: not sports bets and not prediction-market contracts. We have not verified whether they award Sweeps Coins, so treat them as a feature, not a source of prizes.
Factor 3: How much each rulebook states
Edge: Zula.
Zula’s v2.6 rules spell out three things that matter to a careful player: an 18+ minimum age (or the local age of majority), Sweeps Coin expiry 60 days after the last login, and win caps (below 5,000 SC per play in Florida, 50,000 SC per 48 hours elsewhere). For Sportzino, the documents we read did not state the minimum age, and we have only confirmed that coins can expire after inactivity and that the group’s rules carry a Florida cap. Where one document is silent, we do not assume it matches the sister site.
Factor 4: Free entry and minimums
Edge: tie.
The 5 SC mail-in value is the highest we have verified in official rules, ahead of the 3 SC at Modo and High 5, and both sites set the same 50 SC floor. The only wording difference is that Zula’s minimum is “per day” and Sportzino’s “per request”. Our free Sweeps Coins guide compares free-entry value across brands.
Factor 5: Sign-up offers
Edge: Zula, on Sweeps Coins.
Both offers were shown on the operators’ own sites on October 4, 2026, and neither requires a purchase or a promo code. Zula’s homepage banner showed up to 120,000 GC + 10 SC, paid in steps for sign-up, phone and email verification, consents and social-account links. Sportzino’s promotions page showed up to 170,000 GC + 7 SC, with 20,000 GC + 1 SC on registration and the rest after verification; its homepage banner showed 150,000 GC + 6 SC the same day, so the figure you see may differ.
Gold Coins cannot be redeemed, so Zula’s 3 extra Sweeps Coins matter more than Sportzino’s extra Gold Coins. Either way, the amounts are small next to the 50 SC minimum redemption at both sites. We do not compare first-purchase deals, because the figures reported for both brands disagree between sources.
Choose Zula if…
- You live in Georgia, or in any other state Sportzino blocks but Zula allows.
- You are 18 to 20: Zula accepts players from 18 (or the local age of majority, if higher), while most rivals require 21+.
- You want a rulebook that states expiry and win caps in full.
- You want more Sweeps Coins in the sign-up offer (10 SC against 7 SC).
Choose Sportzino if…
- You want free-to-play sports predictions alongside casino games.
- Your state is permitted by both lists and you prefer the combined product.
How we compared them
This comparison uses each operator’s official sweepstakes rules and, for Sportzino, its Terms and Conditions, checked October 4, 2026. The sign-up offers come from Zula’s homepage and Sportzino’s promotions page, read the same day. We have not opened accounts at either site, so we make no claims about game quality, support or how quickly prizes arrive. Our methodology explains the criteria behind the ranking.
