Zula Casino review: rules, free entry and promo code status
A documentary review of Zula Casino from its Sweeps Rules v2.6 (Aug 2026): 5 SC mail-in entry, 50 SC minimum, 60-day expiry, win caps and 15 excluded states.
Key takeaways
- Zula Casino is run by SCPS LLC of Dover, Delaware, part of the Blazesoft group. This review is based on its Sweeps Rules v2.6 (August 28, 2026).
- Its mail-in free entry pays 5 SC per request, above the 3 SC at Modo and High 5, but you must pass KYC before redeeming coins from mail-in requests.
- The minimum redemption is 50 Sweeps Coins. Unused Sweeps Coins expire 60 days after your last login.
- Sweeps play is not permitted in 15 states. Oklahoma is not yet on the list, although the state's ban starts November 1, 2026.
- Welcome offer: up to 120,000 GC + 10 SC on sign-up with no purchase, paid in verification steps, as shown on Zula's own site on October 4, 2026. No promo code is needed.
Paid out in steps: sign-up, phone and email verification, marketing consents and social-account links. 18+. Sweeps Coins need 1x playthrough before they can be redeemed. First-purchase deals vary by source, so we do not list one. Confirmed on Zula Casino's site October 4, 2026. Official terms. 18+ only. Not available in CA, CT, DE, ID, IL, IN, LA, ME, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, TN, WA.
Get the Zula Casino offer (opens the operator's site in a new tab)Verdict: Zula Casino suits players who plan to use the free mail-in route and who log in often. Its rules pay 5 Sweeps Coins per mail-in request, accept players from 18, and state the 50 SC redemption minimum plainly. Skip it if you play occasionally, because Sweeps Coins lapse 60 days after your last login, or if you want a fixed playthrough figure before you buy: the rules leave the multiplier to the operator.

Who it’s for
Zula is a reasonable fit for an adult in an eligible state who wants to try sweepstakes play mostly or entirely through free entries and is willing to complete identity checks before a first redemption. At 5 SC per request, ten valid mail-ins add up to the 50 SC minimum (before any playthrough), compared with 17 at a site paying 3 SC.
It is a poor fit if you:
- live in one of the 15 excluded states, or in Oklahoma, where a ban takes effect November 1, 2026;
- log in rarely and could lose a balance to the 60-day expiry;
- are in Florida and expect large single wins, given the state-specific cap;
- want to compare Zula with a genuinely different product. Zula and Sportzino share an owner and most of their rules (see Zula vs Sportzino).
Company and ownership
According to its Sweeps Rules v2.6, Zula Casino is operated by SCPS LLC, a Dover, Delaware company. It belongs to the Blazesoft group, which also runs Sportzino (through SSPS LLC) and Fortune Wins, the brand formerly called Fortune Coins.
We could not confirm Zula’s launch year from a primary source. Zula is not a state-licensed casino and does not claim to be; it operates under its Sweeps Rules and terms.
Legal status and where you can play
As of October 4, 2026, according to Sweeps Rules v2.6 (August 28, 2026), Zula does not permit sweeps play in 15 states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington.
Points worth noting:
- Illinois is excluded. Our tracker shows no sweepstakes-specific ban statute in Illinois, though the state has reportedly sent many cease-and-desist letters (a secondary report we have not confirmed). Of the brands we document, only Zula and Sportzino exclude it.
- Oklahoma is not yet listed. SB 1589 bans online sweepstakes casinos from November 1, 2026. Expect Zula’s list to change, and avoid building a balance in Oklahoma that you could not redeem before then.
- West Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky are not listed, although several rivals exclude them. Absence from a list is the operator’s decision, not a legal ruling.
Florida players can participate, under a win cap described below. For the law behind each state, see our sweepstakes legality tracker.
Zula’s coin rules: playthrough, expiry and win caps
Zula’s rules define a Gold Coin as currency “that cannot be redeemed for Prizes” and a Sweeps Coin as promotional currency that “may, under certain circumstances, be redeemed for real money prizes” (Sweeps Rules v2.6). The general mechanics are covered in our guide to how Sweeps Coins work; what follows is specific to Zula.
- Playthrough. The operator may set a multiplier before Sweeps Coins can be redeemed; the rules use 2x as an example. At 2x, a 50 SC balance would need 100 SC of play. Plays on “WAR” games do not count.
- Expiry. Sweeps Coins are valid for 60 days from your last login. Logging in resets the clock, but a player who stops visiting for two months can lose the balance.
- Win caps. In Florida, which the rules treat as a “Restricted Jurisdiction”, a single Sweeps Coin play cannot win 5,000 SC or more. Elsewhere, wins are capped at 50,000 SC within 48 hours.
Zula’s v2.6 rules still say “Gold Coin”, although other Blazesoft terms record a March 28, 2025 switch to the label “Virtual Coins”.
Free ways to get Sweeps Coins
Mail-in request (verified). Under Sweeps Rules v2.6:
- Get your unique Mail Code as the rules describe.
- Handwrite the request, including the Mail Code and the details the rules list. The rules allow Zula to use third-party handwriting checks.
- Send one request per envelope, mailed from the same state as the return address.
- Each valid request is credited with 5 Sweeps Coins.
The v2.6 rules list the mailing address as 10-8707 Dufferin Street, Thornhill, PO BOX #170, Ontario, Canada L4J 0A2. Check the current official rules before mailing: open the live Sweeps Rules and confirm the address and format, because both can change between versions.
KYC comes first. Coins from mail-in requests cannot be redeemed until you complete identity verification.
Other free sources. The rules also mention free Sweeps Coins for signing up, connecting Facebook, verifying a phone number, referrals, and a daily bonus available when your balance is below a threshold. The rules do not fix the amounts; the current sign-up figures come from Zula’s homepage and are covered in the next section.
Offer and promo code
Sign-up offer: up to 120,000 Gold Coins + 10 Sweeps Coins, no purchase needed. This was shown on Zula’s own homepage banner on October 4, 2026, marked 18+ and for new players only. It is paid out in steps: sign-up, phone and email verification, marketing consents and social-account links. Older text elsewhere on the same homepage still says 100,000 GC + 10 SC; we use the live banner figure. Sweeps Coins need 1x playthrough before redemption, according to comparison sites.
We do not list a first-purchase deal, because the figures reported by comparison sites disagree with each other. The 60-day expiry above applies to any Sweeps Coins you receive.
No promo code is needed for this offer. Codes advertised on other sites belong to those sites, and we do not publish them. Free-coin routes across brands are compared in our no-deposit sweepstakes guide.
Games
Zula offers slots and other casino-style games. We have not counted the catalog or confirmed its providers. The rules’ reference to “WAR” games confirms at least one card-style game, which does not count toward playthrough.
Purchases and redemptions
| Rule | Zula Sweeps Rules v2.6 |
|---|---|
| Minimum redemption | 50 Sweeps Coins (“a minimum of 50 Sweeps Coins per day”) |
| Before redeeming | Playthrough met; identity verified |
| Largest permitted win | Below 5,000 SC per play in Florida; 50,000 SC per 48 hours elsewhere |
We have not verified Zula’s purchase methods, redemption methods or processing times, so we do not list them. Check the cashier page for current options before buying.
Mobile
Zula’s app availability and mobile site have not been verified; hands-on testing will cover them.
Safety, complaints and legal actions
Zula’s rules are versioned and specific, which helps. On the legal side:
- Baltimore lawsuit (March 4, 2026). The City of Baltimore sued six operators, including Blazesoft through its Fortune Coins brand, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Zula was not named in the plaintiff’s counsel release we reviewed, but it shares the same parent group.
- State enforcement. We did not find a state attorney general lawsuit naming Zula itself as of October 4, 2026.
The main consumer risks come from Zula’s own terms: discretionary playthrough, short expiry, and win caps that can reduce a large result.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Official rules updated August 2026
- Mail-in free entry worth 5 SC per request, above the 3 SC at several rivals
- Clear 50 SC minimum redemption
- Age 18+ (or age of majority), where many rivals require 21+
Cons
- Sweeps Coins expire 60 days after your last login
- Florida players face a cap on single-play wins
- KYC is required before free-entry coins can be redeemed
- Playthrough multiplier is at the operator's discretion
Alternatives
- Sportzino is Zula’s sister site, with the same 5 SC mail-in value plus free sports predictions, but it also excludes Georgia. Our Zula vs Sportzino comparison sets out the few real differences.
- Modo.us has a lower 20 SC gift-card minimum and already excludes Oklahoma, but it pays 3 SC per mail-in, requires 21+ and can set playthrough as high as 30x.
- High 5 Casino states that 1 SC equals $1 in prizes, but its cash minimum is 100 SC, double Zula’s, and it excludes 21 states. See Modo vs High 5 Casino.
- Chumba Casino has operated since 2012, but its last readable rules (2024) set a 100 SC minimum and its operator settled with New York for $8 million in September 2026.

How we reviewed Zula Casino
This is a documentary review built from Zula’s Sweeps Rules v2.6 (August 28, 2026), related Blazesoft terms, state legislation and public court filings. Every fact traces to a source listed on this page. We have not opened a Zula account, made a purchase, mailed a request or redeemed a prize, so the review carries no score and no claims about speed or support.
A hands-on testing log is planned. It will cover account setup, KYC, a mail-in request and a dated redemption, and we will update this page when it is complete. Facts were last verified October 4, 2026, and are re-checked every 30 days. Our methodology explains how we evaluate sweepstakes casinos.
